This month at PWC we will be talking learning about the importance of being flexible when we respond to the challenges which come our way. We will be studying the life of Abigail. Join us at one of our three Dallas locations. Continue reading

How’s Your Reach?

I hope it was a Easter wonderful weekend as you celebrated the resurrection.

This past month, we studied the story of Ruth and learned not only the beauty of redemption, but also the joy of reaching out of our comfort zone in order to love another person.  Here’s the key points from our lesson.

 Positive Truth

Compassion means having the courage to step out of our comfort zone and reach out to share in someone else’s suffering.

Plan of Action

Choose to take the tough road at times.

Reach out and help in a variety of ways, both near and far.

Look for opportunities to help those closest to you.

Ask God to lead you and guide you in serving wisely.

             Don’t just give a hand-out, give a hand-up as well.

Let actions, not words, define your compassion.
